After a period of sub-zero temperatures, the copper pipes gave up the ghost (even the water meter froze!), so it was time for one of my clients to get the plumbing up to date.
The nice thing about plastic (PER) pipework is that it goes round corners, which significantly reduces the number of joints and connections needed. It doesn’t look as nice as copper pipe, but most of the plumbing is hidden out of sight.
